How do you run a business without business experience? Small business is the backbone of Stockton’s economy. Yet, since no one on our city council owns a business, it is impossible for the council to reflect the management and financial expertise that can only come from owning a successful business. It is essential that our city council has someone with real-life business experience. Someone who knows how excessive fees and taxes can hurt small businesses and families. Someone who knows how to live within her means and thinks city government should, too. Someone who can help Stockton continue to achieve its goals AND spend taxpayers’ dollars efficiently.
